The WALL Necklace is like a wearable wall. Individual metal elements come together to create a flexible structure that wraps around the neck like a façade.
The repeated elements are reminiscent of bricks or architectural building blocks. Only through their connection does the flat, architectural form emerge. Rhythm, repetition and proportion become the design itself.
I am interested in the idea of transferring something we normally see as part of a building onto the body. A wall becomes mobile. A façade becomes jewelry.
